Senior Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create software by developing code for applications, programs, and systems in line with project specifications and requirements.

• Evaluate the developed software, pinpointing and rectifying issues, bugs, and code defects.

• Guarantee the quality of deliverables, compliance with deadlines, and customer satisfaction.

• Document the code to support maintenance and future updates effectively.

• Assist the development team by offering technical guidance and leadership in delivering solutions.

• Create efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

• Investigate and implement new technologies to enhance software performance and efficiency.

• Oversee and support production systems, identifying issues and executing solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification in Programming Languages (preferred).

• Certification in Cloud technologies (preferred).

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or a related field.

• Understanding of artificial intelligence in software development, including tools like Devin, Cursor, or Gemini.

• Familiarity with AI API integration and concepts related to large language models (LLM).

• Proficiency in Java versions 8, 11, and 21.

• Knowledge of Spring Boot framework.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

• Proficient in SQL Server and Sybase databases.

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with message brokers such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or RabbitMQ.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, or Kanban).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

• Understanding of creating and monitoring batch processing, preferably using Spring Batch.

• Experience with system integration patterns.
