Senior Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Engage actively within business squads.

• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner (PO) to outline and discuss solutions.

• Participate in both technical and functional decision-making.

• Negotiate and challenge assumptions as necessary.

• Gain a thorough understanding of the business and the effects of the solutions provided.

• Employ a systemic approach and emphasize delivered value alongside technical execution.

• Work with microservices while maintaining a legacy Java monolith.

• Operate in an on-premises setting utilizing a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in an on-premises environment.

• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).

• Proven experience with microservices and the upkeep of a legacy Java monolith.

• Strong background in Java backend development.

• Knowledge of SOA and microservices architecture.

• Experience in working within on-premises environments.

• Capability to manage legacy systems and facilitate service-to-service integration.

• Proactive, engaged, and inquisitive mindset, along with excellent communication skills and autonomy.

• Experience with SOA buses and service publication is a plus.

• Familiarity with QA processes and build rooms for application support and development is a plus.

• Ability to navigate complex contexts with various technical dependencies is a plus.
