Senior Java Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

• Execute business rules in accordance with requirements and the defined solution.

• Integrate the application with various systems or data sources.

• Process data and ensure it is accessible for front-end consumption.

• Design and maintain REST APIs utilizing Spring Boot.

• Engage with microservices-based architectures.

• Produce high-quality code that adheres to established technical and development guidelines.

• Generate source code that complies with the standards of the employed technologies.

• Analyze issues and independently propose solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend development with Java 17 or higher.

• Proven experience in developing REST APIs using Spring Boot (essential).

• Understanding of microservices architecture.

• Experience with relational databases, including PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

• Preferred knowledge of NoSQL databases like DocumentDB and MongoDB.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.

• Proficient in using Docker.

• Understanding of Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

• Background in Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

• Familiarity with unit and integration testing utilizing JUnit and Mockito.

• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities.

• Capability to work independently.

• Strong problem-analysis skills with the ability to suggest solutions.
