Senior IT Systems, Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate unfamiliar customer environments and spearhead technical implementation strategies in collaboration with the Compliance Lead.

• Set up and secure Microsoft 365, GCC High, Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, Google Workspace, Google Cloud Identity, and hybrid environments.

• Design, migrate, and manage endpoint management programs across MDM and UEM platforms, including Jamf and Microsoft Intune.

• Implement identity solutions, multifactor authentication, least privilege principles, endpoint security measures, logging, vulnerability management, patching, backup, and recovery protocols.

• Configure and troubleshoot systems across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, networks, firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, DNS, and secure remote access.

• Collaborate with customer IT teams, service providers, and vendors to address complex technical problems.

• Validate completed projects and generate configuration records, diagrams, evidence, and runbooks.

• Mentor implementation engineers and transform repeatable tasks into standards, scripts, and automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive senior-level experience in designing, administering, securing, and troubleshooting diverse business IT environments.

• Strong practical expertise in Microsoft and Google environments, including Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Google Workspace.

• Comprehensive mobile device management and unified endpoint management experience across various platforms, including Jamf and Microsoft Intune.

• Proficient in managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.

• Familiarity with networking, firewalls, VPNs, identity management, logging, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, patching, and backup systems.

• Capability to lead customer implementations and make informed technical decisions independently.

• Ability to articulate technical decisions in layman's terms.

• Proficiency in creating precise technical documentation and functioning effectively in a remote, asynchronous setting.

• US citizenship with access to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).

• Travel expectations: 10%-25%.
