Senior IT Project Manager – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee 3 to 5 projects concurrently, managing them from the planning phase through to implementation.

• Create and track schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and performance indicators.

• Lead cross-functional teams while coordinating both internal resources and external vendors.

• Recognize, evaluate, and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans as required.

• Ensure clear communication of project statuses, risks, and financial implications to stakeholders and executive leadership.

• Manage shifts in scope, priorities, and interdependencies across projects.

• Assist in the vendor selection and management processes (RFI/RFP).

• Advocate for project management best practices, continuous improvement, and the dissemination of lessons learned.

• Serve as a strategic ally to Finance, IT, and Business teams to facilitate digital transformation initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Strong experience in IT project management, ideally with an emphasis on Finance.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once with intricate dependencies.

• In-depth understanding of financial processes, enterprise systems, and regulatory standards.

• Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and conducting return on investment (ROI) analyses.

• Exceptional leadership and influencing abilities, even without direct management authority.

• Experience in engaging stakeholders across various organizational levels.

• Background in vendor and contract management.

• Superior communication and presentation skills for interactions with executive leadership.

• Capability to work autonomously, make informed decisions, and handle escalations effectively.

• CAPM, PMP, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Experience in leading large-scale financial transformation projects is preferred.

• Practical experience with Oracle EBS (Financials, Procurement), SAP, Workday, or similar financial ERP systems is preferred.

• Familiarity with regulated environments (SOX, GDPR, and similar frameworks) is preferred.

• Experience in organizational change management and implementing new technologies is preferred.

• Proven track record of process enhancements and lessons-learned initiatives is preferred.
