Senior IT Project Manager – Disaster Recovery, Cyber Resilience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive execution of Disaster Recovery and cyber resilience projects across various regions and locations.

• Supervise the creation of an in-region co-location Disaster Recovery facility, which includes network connectivity, storage solutions, Nutanix, VMware, firewalls, and onboarding of applications.

• Facilitate the enablement of Disaster Recovery and ensure recovery readiness for essential business applications.

• Steer recovery planning, conduct testing, and manage site failover simulations.

• Propel the deployment of Ansible-driven recovery automation, technical runbooks, and recovery playbooks.

• Oversee cyber resilience projects, including Citrix modernization, Azure MFA implementation, malware protection, and the remediation of security vulnerabilities.

• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Applications, Business Continuity, vendors, and regional/site stakeholders.

• Take ownership of project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, dependencies, RAID management, governance, and executive status updates.

• Ensure that Disaster Recovery solutions are tested, documented, transitioned to operations, and capable of achieving recovery objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management, ideally in Disaster Recovery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or business continuity initiatives.

• Robust understanding of Disaster Recovery principles, business continuity, recovery testing, failover processes, and enterprise infrastructure.

• Familiarity with regulated pharmaceutical environments (GxP documentation).

• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects that involve VMware, Nutanix, storage solutions, networking, firewalls, and co-location/data center settings.

• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and recovery orchestration; experience with Ansible is highly beneficial.

• Understanding of MFA, malware protection, Citrix, and security remediation practices.

• Experience in managing global or multi-site projects, technical vendors, risks, budgets, and cross-functional delivery teams.

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, governance, and executive reporting skills.

• Proficiency in business English.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across international teams.
