This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
• Oversee the comprehensive execution of Disaster Recovery and cyber resilience projects across various regions and locations.
• Develop and oversee an in-region co-location Disaster Recovery facility.
• Manage network connectivity, storage solutions, Nutanix, VMware, firewalls, and the onboarding of applications.
• Facilitate Disaster Recovery enablement and ensure recovery readiness for critical business applications.
• Lead the planning, testing, and execution of site failover exercises.
• Promote Ansible-based recovery automation, technical runbooks, and recovery playbooks.
• Direct cyber resilience projects, including Citrix modernization, Azure MFA implementation, malware protection, and the remediation of security issues.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Applications, Business Continuity teams, vendors, and regional/site stakeholders.
• Take responsibility for project planning, budget management, resource allocation, dependencies, RAID management, governance, and executive reporting.
• Ensure that Disaster Recovery solutions are adequately tested, documented, transitioned to operations, and capable of fulfilling recovery objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management.
• Preferably possess experience in Disaster Recovery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or business continuity projects.
• Strong grasp of Disaster Recovery concepts, business continuity, recovery testing, failover strategies, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Familiarity with regulated pharmaceutical environments and GxP documentation.
• Experience in managing infrastructure projects involving VMware, Nutanix, storage solutions, networking, firewalls, and co-location/data center settings.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and recovery orchestration.
• Understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including MFA, malware protection, Citrix, and security remediation.
• Demonstrated experience managing global or multi-site projects, technical vendors, risks, budgets, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, governance, and executive reporting abilities.
• Proficient in business English.
