This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.
• Oversee the comprehensive delivery of Disaster Recovery and cyber resilience projects across various regions and locations.
• Manage the setup of an in-region co-location disaster recovery facility, which includes network connectivity, storage, Nutanix, VMware, firewalls, and application onboarding.
• Facilitate disaster recovery enablement and ensure recovery readiness for mission-critical applications.
• Lead the planning, testing, and execution of site failover exercises.
• Spearhead the implementation of Ansible-based recovery automation, including automated technical runbooks and recovery playbooks.
• Oversee cyber resilience initiatives, such as Citrix modernization, Azure MFA, malware protection, and the remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Applications, Business Continuity, vendors, and regional/site stakeholders.
• Take ownership of project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, dependencies, RAID management, governance, and executive status reporting.
• Ensure that disaster recovery solutions are tested, thoroughly documented, transitioned to operations, and capable of meeting specified recovery objectives.
• A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management.
• Preferred experience in projects related to Disaster Recovery, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or business continuity.
• Strong comprehension of Disaster Recovery principles, business continuity, recovery testing, failover procedures, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical settings and familiarity with GxP documentation.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects that involve VMware, Nutanix, storage, networking, firewalls, and co-location/data center environments.
• Knowledge of infrastructure automation and recovery orchestration.
• Understanding of cybersecurity technologies, including MFA, malware protection, Citrix, and security remediation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage global or multi-site projects, technical vendors, risks, budgets, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, governance, and executive reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency in business English.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
