Senior IT Program Manager – Transformation Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee extensive IT transformation projects, encompassing SaaS implementations, legacy system upgrades, and digital modernization efforts.

• Direct comprehensive program governance, including planning, execution, risk management, and budget supervision.

• Propel commercial platform transformation projects, focusing on CPQ, order management, and the optimization of the order-to-cash process.

• Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams spanning Business, IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Commercial, and external partners.

• Lead migration activities based on carve-out and TSA strategies, ensuring effective separation and transition of systems, processes, and services.

• Manage communications with executive stakeholders, steering committees, and program reporting.

• Ensure that business objectives align with technology roadmaps.

• Track program performance, dependencies, and risks while applying effective mitigation strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Preferred program management certification such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent.

• At least 8 years of experience in program management, specifically in leading large-scale enterprise IT transformation projects.

• Demonstrated success in delivering SaaS implementations, modernizing legacy systems, and transforming enterprise platforms.

• Strong background in CPQ, order management, commercial systems, and global system consolidation initiatives.

• Proven experience in managing carve-outs, divestitures, TSA-based migrations, or IT separation projects.

• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and comprehensive Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management, financial governance, vendor management, and risk management.

• Experience in global pharmaceutical, life sciences, manufacturing, or highly regulated sectors.

• Proficiency in English with exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.
