This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert IT Operations support to staff within a globally distributed organization.

• Manage complex operational challenges, investigate them, and devise solutions while taking employee experience, security, reliability, and business impact into account.

• Mentor and guide IT Operations team members; assist with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, documentation, and operational decision-making.

• Provide support to employees and IT services within the federal environment, including the administration of Microsoft 365 Government Community Cloud High (GCC High), troubleshooting, and support documentation.

• Collaborate with Security and other teams to address operational, security, and compliance needs within the federal environment.

• Lead root-cause analysis for recurring or significant operational issues and implement scalable technical or process enhancements.

• Highlight operational risks, recurring challenges, and opportunities for improvement to the IT executive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12 years of experience in IT Operations, or equivalent experience showcasing senior-level technical breadth, judgment, and ownership.

• Advanced administrative skills with multiple enterprise platforms, including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Jira, an identity provider, or a mobile device management platform.

• Enterprise-level administration experience with Microsoft 365.

• Experience with GCC High or a similar regulated government cloud environment is preferred.

• Proven experience in leading root-cause analysis and implementing scalable technical or process enhancements.

• Experience serving as a technical escalation point and providing mentorship or coaching to fellow IT professionals.

• Strong judgment in balancing employee experience, security, reliability, speed, and business impact.

• An automation-focused mindset, including the ability to identify suitable automation opportunities while considering security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

• Must reside in the United States Pacific Time Zone.
