This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, configure, and oversee network infrastructure across headquarters, manufacturing facilities, and international locations.
• Create and sustain a robust WAN architecture featuring dual-ISP and wireless/cellular failover capabilities.
• Execute network segmentation, VLANs, routing, NAT, access rules, IPSEC VPN, and IPS/IDS.
• Develop and support enterprise wireless networks, including plant-floor wireless for operational technology.
• Manage multi-vendor network platforms and ensure standardized configurations across various sites.
• Monitor network performance and generate network status reports.
• Enforce infrastructure security measures and lead the response to security incidents.
• Administer identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and OneLogin.
• Oversee endpoint security and device standardization utilizing Microsoft Defender and Intune/Autopilot.
• Provide support for virtualization and server infrastructure, including VM provisioning and Windows Server upgrades.
• Support and document backup and disaster recovery systems, including testing disaster recovery preparedness.
• Deploy, repair, replace, dispose of, and manage inventory of computing equipment.
• Offer customer service support, manage tickets in Happy Fox, and resolve escalated network and infrastructure challenges.
• Author standard operating procedures and runbooks using Scribe.
• Assist with infrastructure, networking, telecom, cloud phone system, and site expansion deployments.
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and service partners on repairs, upgrades, renewals, evaluations, and contracts.
• Mentor IT team members and engage in change control processes.
• Contribute to IT policy, governance, and security standards while advising leadership on infrastructure best practices.
• Provide off-hours support for outages, upgrades, and maintenance across global time zones.
• Support Kwik Lok production activities related to the manufacture of Kwik Lok closures and the continuous improvement of quality, food safety, and manufacturing processes.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in network and infrastructure support, particularly in multi-site or distributed environments.
• CCNP or CCNA certification is mandatory.
• CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
• Proven experience in firewall management, WAN/LAN architecture, network segmentation, VPN, and enterprise wireless (802.1X).
• Familiarity with cloud networking and application delivery (Azure), source control (Git/GitHub), and CI/CD practices.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender.
• Experience in supporting virtualization, Windows Server environments, and backup and recovery systems.
• Experience leading incident response and root cause analysis, or acting as an escalation point in an MSP or multi-client setting.
• Experience in authoring IT policy and governance standards is preferred.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment drug and background checks.
• Must possess a valid US passport or be able to obtain one after hiring.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Availability is required Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm PST, with occasional off-hours availability.
• Must have a physical workspace suitable for telework and complete telework environment safety assessments.
• Must utilize video during virtual meetings.
• Ability to travel approximately 25–35% of the time.
• Ability to work periodically in office and manufacturing plant environments, including network closets and warehouse areas.
• May occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
