Contract & Legal Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, which entails intake, drafting, review coordination, approvals, execution, amendments, renewals, and record retention.

• Lead and enhance the Contract Administration Team.

• Establish priorities, manage workloads, and cultivate technical expertise, accountability, and reliable service.

• Develop and standardize processes to eliminate obstacles and enhance document controls.

• Enhance contract turnaround times and ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with Legal Counsel and business stakeholders on intricate contract issues and risk management.

• Coordinate integration of acquisitions and operational initiatives.

• Enhance contract systems and assess approved automation and AI tools.

• Monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvements.

• Report directly to the VP of Real Estate & Legal Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of progressive experience in legal operations, contract management, corporate paralegal roles, or a similar field.

• Extensive experience managing complex contracts.

• 4–5+ years of direct experience in people management.

• Proven success in coaching team members, overseeing workloads, and enhancing team performance.

• Established track record in creating processes and boosting efficiency.

• Comprehensive understanding of contract terms, approval workflows, document controls, and contract lifecycle management.

• Strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and a sense of ownership.

• Capability to lead independently and juggle competing priorities.

• Ability to safeguard confidential information and appropriately engage Legal Counsel.

• Familiarity with contract technology and document management systems.

• Knowledge of AI, automation, real estate, hospitality, vacation ownership, or acquisition integration is advantageous.

• A relevant degree, paralegal certification, or contract management certification is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be taken into account.
