Payment Operations Associate, Payins

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance Flywire’s payment procedures.

• Improve fund transfer and reconciliation across international accounts.

• Strengthen existing partner relationships and pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Assist the Payment Operations, Payouts, and Customer Support Teams.

• Identify and align incoming payments with customer bookings.

• Reconcile accounting entries across international accounts and various currencies.

• Investigate and rectify unmatched or misapplied payments alongside internal teams and payment partners.

• Address bank and partner reporting discrepancies to guarantee precise and prompt identification of incoming funds.

• Recognize recurring payment challenges and propose process enhancements to minimize manual tasks and reconciliation inconsistencies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 1–2 years of professional experience in the payments or banking sector.

• Proficiency in payment identification and reconciliation.

• Experience with bank and partner reporting is advantageous.

• Background in payment processing and investigations is a plus.

• Exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency for meeting deadlines, and excellent organizational skills.

• Capability to work independently, resolve issues, and complete tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; a genuine team player.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Positive, proactive attitude with a demonstrated eagerness to learn.

• Passionate about problem-solving and supporting customers.

• Excellent analytical and computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with Slack, Zendesk, Jira, and/or Looker is a plus.
