Senior IT Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver technical designs for contemporary solution architectures within the statutory health insurance (GKV) sector.

• Assume responsibility for architectural decisions and establish architecture standards and technical guidelines.

• Assess business and technical requirements and convert them into forward-looking solution designs.

• Ensure compliance with IT security, data protection, and regulatory standards in the healthcare domain.

• Provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders on technical issues.

• Assist in the technical implementation and support complex architectural challenges.

• Evaluate and adopt appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural strategies.

• Identify opportunities for optimization within existing system landscapes.

• Assess and utilize innovative technologies like AI to enhance processes and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of modern software architectures.

• Experience with Java/JEE-based enterprise applications.

• Proven experience in designing intricate application systems at a technical level.

• Expertise in integration and API architectures, including REST and SOAP.

• Familiarity with cloud and container technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker.

• Significant experience within the statutory health insurance (GKV) sector.

• Strong understanding of healthcare requirements.

• Knowledge of managing sensitive data and regulatory needs in secure environments.

• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken German (C2 level).

• Nice to have: Experience in secure coding, API security, or similar security standards.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with UML modeling, requirements engineering, or architectural methods like iSAQB.

• Nice to have: Experience with AI solutions in regulated settings, preferably in healthcare.
