Senior Integration Engineer – AI Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with AI Solutions Managers to convert customer needs into technical solutions.

• Extract, cleanse, and transform data for integration into the RAG pipeline.

• Create specialized features that are not yet available in the core platform.

• Rapidly iterate based on customer feedback and solidify solutions into reliable services.

• Construct data and extraction pipelines from unstructured sources to AI-ready services.

• Develop tools and integrations with customer APIs, ticketing systems, and internal systems.

• Design knowledge-base frameworks to enhance retrieval and embedding quality.

• Set standards for reproducibility and service quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in delivering production-ready Python services.

• Familiarity with Docker.

• Practical experience with RAG and LLM agents or agentic workflows, either in a professional capacity or through significant side projects.

• Proficiency in text manipulation and data wrangling.

• Expertise in agentic coding.

• Evidence of completed projects, such as public repositories, a take-home task, or a demonstration of a private project.

• Comprehensive understanding from requirements to stable service.

• Capability to write production-quality Python code.

• Ability to make informed technical decisions regarding LLM behavior, embeddings, ingestion, chunking, and retrieval.

• Comfortable addressing fuzzy and underdetermined challenges.

• Background in data engineering is advantageous.

• Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure, is a plus.

• Proficiency in English as the working language.

• Knowledge of German at a B2 level is beneficial for handling German-speaking customer data but is not mandatory.
