Senior Infrastructure SRE Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Enhance and support the reliability, availability, and resilience of environments and applications by implementing SRE, observability, automation, and infrastructure engineering methodologies.

• Act as a technical expert in the analysis and resolution of critical incidents, leading root cause investigations and assisting in the formulation of preventive and corrective measures.

• Monitor and optimize service reliability, availability, and performance metrics through the use of SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets.

• Create and refine observability strategies by developing effective metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerts.

• Provide support, troubleshoot, and enhance infrastructure, cloud, and Kubernetes environments.

• Identify risks, bottlenecks, and potential improvements to the architecture and capacity of environments, aiding high-availability, Disaster Recovery, and service continuity efforts.

• Automate operational tasks, diagnostics, and recurring processes.

• Engage in technical reviews, postmortems, and continuous improvement initiatives, sharing SRE best practices and contributing to the operational maturity of the teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed or in-progress degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines.

• Strong experience with Linux environments.

• Practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficient in managing Kubernetes environments.

• Experienced in troubleshooting mission-critical systems.

• Advanced understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and infrastructure.

• Familiarity with observability and monitoring practices.

• Knowledge in incident management and root cause analysis.

• Experience in automating operations using Python, Shell scripting, or PowerShell.

• Practical experience in implementing SRE practices.
