This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers on assigned projects.
• Lead customer engagement efforts, negotiations, and issue resolution.
• Oversee internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Take ownership of the comprehensive execution of large, complex, non-turnkey, product/equipment-only, and combined-cycle projects.
• Collaborate with the ITO Commercial Manager to establish early execution strategies.
• Facilitate contract reviews and ensure alignment on requirements, scope, and obligations.
• Manage execution while adhering to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost principles.
• Maintain complete P&L accountability for revenue, contribution margin, and cash flow.
• Foster accountability for project performance metrics.
• Align cost, scheduling, performance, and risk trade-offs effectively.
• Create and manage risk and opportunity registers along with mitigation actions.
• Advocate for and implement GE Vernova’s Safety Toolkit, prioritizing health and safety.
• Utilize risk-based decision-making incorporating both internal and external inputs.
• Develop project execution and/or technical expertise while acting as a subject matter expert.
• Promote best practices to enhance products, processes, and services.
• Lead innovative problem-solving initiatives in manufacturing, engineering, and production settings.
• Employ operational, engineering, and product management techniques across interconnected workstreams.
• Address cross-functional issues and execution limitations in collaboration with partnering functions.
• Guide project teams and resources throughout complex, high-risk, large-scale projects.
• Assist Functional Project Managers with escalation processes.
• Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior leadership.
• Influence stakeholders without direct authority within a matrix organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• At least 8 years of Project Management experience in Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Project Management Professional certification is preferred.
• Proven understanding and experience with large capital project execution costs and estimates.
• Ability to manage multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently.
• Strong customer orientation with the ability to build solid relationships.
• Experience in collaborating with and influencing senior-level leaders.
• Capable of strategic thinking, problem-solving, and possessing strong business and financial acumen.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Demonstrated presentation skills with the capacity to communicate complex messages clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Ability to make independent decisions and balance conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in applying data and lean tools and technologies for strategic, operational, and project efficiencies.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
