This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary customer liaison for designated projects.

• Spearhead customer engagement, negotiations, and issue resolution.

• Coordinate and align efforts among customers, partners, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

• Oversee the comprehensive execution of large, intricate, non-turnkey, product/equipment-only, and combined-cycle projects.

• Collaborate with the ITO Commercial Manager to formulate early execution strategies.

• Facilitate contract reviews to ensure alignment on requirements, scope, and obligations.

• Implement project execution adhering to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost principles.

• Maintain complete P&L accountability for revenue, contribution margin, and cash flow.

• Foster accountability for critical project performance metrics.

• Align teams regarding cost, schedule, performance, and risk trade-offs.

• Create and manage risk and opportunity registers, including mitigation actions.

• Advocate for and implement GE Vernova’s Safety Toolkit across project teams, partners, and subcontractors.

• Facilitate risk-based decision-making utilizing both internal and external inputs.

• Cultivate project execution and/or technical subject-matter expertise.

• Promote best practices to enhance products, processes, and services.

• Drive innovative solutions in complex manufacturing, engineering, and production settings.

• Employ advanced operational, engineering, and product management techniques across interconnected workstreams.

• Address cross-functional issues and execution constraints in collaboration with partner functions.

• Lead project teams and resources with varying degrees of complexity, risk, and scale.

• Assist Functional Project Managers with escalations.

• Present project, business, and technical solutions to senior leadership.

• Influence stakeholders without direct authority within a matrix organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.

• At least 8 years of Project Management experience in Energy, Construction, or large capital project environments.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Certification as a Project Management Professional is preferred.

• Graduate of the Field Engineer or Project Management Leadership Program is advantageous.

• Proven experience and understanding of the costs and estimates associated with large capital project execution.

• Capable of managing multiple phased projects simultaneously and independently.

• Strong customer orientation with the ability to build solid relationships.

• Experience in engaging and influencing senior-level leaders.

• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and business and financial acumen.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Proven presentation skills with the ability to convey complex messages clearly.

• An inclusive approach with robust interpersonal and leadership abilities.

• Capacity to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment, effectively interfacing at all organizational levels.

• Experience utilizing data and lean tools and technologies to drive strategic, operational, and project efficiencies.
