Senior Infrastructure Engineer

📋 Description

• Take ownership of best practices for managing production infrastructure, which encompasses provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning, and monitoring.

• Develop and sustain Kubernetes infrastructure at scale alongside Terraform-provisioned cloud resources.

• Create custom automation and tooling using Go to minimize manual labor and operational risks.

• Establish infrastructure for managing and deploying applications within secure enclaves.

• Design deployment processes that mitigate risks throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Enhance operations across infrastructure and systems, focusing on deployment, logging, monitoring, and alerting.

• Support the scaling of the engineering team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with multi-cloud infrastructure, with a strong preference for AWS.

• Proficiency in Go programming; adept at crafting production-level software beyond mere scripts or configurations.

• Practical experience managing Kubernetes at scale and applying infrastructure as code principles with Terraform.

• Possess a learning mindset and demonstrate high agency.

• Knowledge of contemporary application architectures, with clear viewpoints on their development and deployment.

• Experience in highly security-sensitive environments.

• Individuals who believe that Web3/cryptocurrency can significantly improve the world and have a genuine desire to support that transformation.

• Must be located in the US.

• Bonus points for experience with trusted execution environments, secure enclaves, hardware security modules, or other attestable computing environments.

• In-depth knowledge of Linux and strategies to minimize the application surface area deployed on it.

• Expertise in threshold signing systems and a commitment to staying at the forefront of production-grade cryptography.

• Actively monitor developments within the crypto ecosystem and hold informed opinions on its future direction.
