Senior Information Security Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Lead and nurture the security engineering and analyst team, encompassing delivery, prioritization, coaching, and performance management.

• Oversee security platforms such as EDR, SIEM, compliance automation, vulnerability management, and CSPM.

• Manage detection and response workflows.

• Supervise the security metrics pipeline, which includes remediation velocity, control assurance, and coverage for quarterly business reviews.

• Promote the adoption of AI in tools for enhanced detection capabilities.

• Establish and enforce security standards for AI and agentic systems, including integrations with LLM, orchestration, and governance.

• Lead incident response activities during EU hours in coordination with U.S. teams.

• Conduct reviews following incidents.

• Collaborate on compliance audits, including SOC 2, PCI DSS, and EU regulations.

• Direct security design reviews across various product lines, incorporating risk ratings, SLAs, and documented standards.

• Monitor relevant threat intelligence and transform it into actionable detections.

• Work cross-functionally to investigate card testing, fraud, and abuse attacks.

• Convert investigation results into detections and recommendations for strengthening security.

• Collaborate closely with the U.S.-based VP of Information Security, as well as the compliance and privacy operations team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years in information security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role overseeing technical security staff.

• Extensive hands-on experience in cloud security operations, preferably with AWS, as well as SIEM/log analytics, EDR platforms, and vulnerability management programs.

• Proven track record of developing measurable, metrics-driven security programs within a compliance-focused environment, such as PCI DSS or SOC 2.

• Experience working in distributed teams across multiple time zones.

• Exceptional written communication skills.

• Proficient in professional English.

• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing AI tools and technologies to enhance workflows, improve decision-making, or foster innovation.

• Preferably located in Brno, Czech Republic.

• Bonus: Experience in securing or governing AI/LLM systems and agentic tools.

• Bonus: Familiarity with the EU regulatory landscape, including GDPR, as well as experience in fintech or legal-tech sectors.
