Senior Incasso Medewerker – Focus: België

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Act as an expert in debt collection within Belgium and its regulations.

• Stay updated on new Belgian laws and share legal knowledge with the team.

• Communicate with debtors, clients, and third parties via phone, email, chat, and letters.

• Handle complex legal inquiries, disputes, and complaints from authorities.

• Address requests from debt assistance services, legal claims, and lawsuits.

• Serve as the point of contact for bailiffs and legal proceedings in Belgian matters.

• Act as a liaison between the internal team and external service providers.

• Manage cases and explain the necessary legal steps to be taken.

• Ensure that debt collection processes are conducted correctly.

• Identify discrepancies and inefficient working methods.

• Gather feedback from clients and debtors.

• Work on improving processes and services in Belgium.

• Support the team in maintaining quality and service standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in customer service with a focus on claims management and debt collection in the Belgian market.

• Proactive and solution-oriented, with strong communication skills at all levels and through all channels.

• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, both spoken and written, in a business context.

• Completed MBO level 4 education or equivalent EQF level 3 or 4 (EU Qualification).

• Passion for fast-paced, dynamic work environments and a drive to continuously improve processes and standards.

• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Interest in AI and new technologies, with a willingness to work with AI-driven tools.

• A completed NVI basic course is a plus.

• Previous experience with international service providers.
