Senior Implementation Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate software implementation processes by configuring and tailoring Alkami products for customer onboarding, testing, training, and readiness for launch.

• Independently coordinate customer implementation projects, configuration tasks, ticket-driven workflows, milestones, and ensure stakeholder alignment.

• Assist customers in navigating user acceptance testing and operational readiness procedures.

• Conduct advanced functional and integration testing, verify configurations, document findings, and address discrepancies.

• Resolve complex configuration, usability, and implementation challenges through in-depth root-cause analysis.

• Collaborate with customers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to synchronize dependencies and delivery goals.

• Provide updates on implementation status, including project progress, issue resolution, testing results, and operational risks.

• Monitor configuration progress, testing milestones, issue escalations, and project dependencies across multiple simultaneous implementations.

• Create and uphold implementation documentation, issue logs, operating guidance, and communications.

• Assist with implementation-related billing coordination and tracking of billable tasks.

• Act as a subject matter expert for designated products, integrations, or implementation tasks.

• Work closely with Product, Support, Engineering, and Implementation teams to gather customer feedback and enhance processes.

• Handle multiple complex implementation priorities concurrently.

• Contribute to improvements in workflow, documentation, testing, and scalability.

• Mentor and support less experienced implementation specialists.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience leading software implementations, customer onboarding initiatives, configuration management, testing operations, or technical consulting within SaaS, fintech, banking technology, or similar fields.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, Communications, or a related discipline.

• Advanced experience in supporting software implementations, configuration management, and customer onboarding tasks.

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis abilities related to software configuration, testing, vendor coordination, and implementation issues across diverse customer environments.

• Capability to independently manage complex implementation projects and prioritize competing demands.

• Experience in facilitating user acceptance testing, functional validation, and operational readiness tasks.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in customer-facing roles and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.

• Experience working collaboratively with customers, vendors, and technical teams to manage implementation execution.

• Ability to maintain comprehensive implementation documentation and operational tracking materials.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and customer relationship management abilities in fast-paced implementation settings.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% to support implementation projects.

• Experience with fintech, SaaS, or digital banking implementation programs.

• Understanding of APIs, integrations, or technical onboarding concepts.

• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management, testing, issue tracking, and documentation tools.

• Experience contributing to process optimization or initiatives aimed at scalability in implementations.

• Knowledge of software deployment, operational readiness, or change management methodologies.

• Experience mentoring implementation specialists or engaging in team knowledge-sharing activities.
