Senior Implementation Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Oversees various strategic and operational projects from their inception and analysis stages through to implementation, going live, and stabilization.

• Identifies and manages project dependencies along with critical paths.

• Establishes and consistently manages project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.

• Coaches, mentors, motivates, and supervises project team members and contractors.

• Develops and oversees the implementation of cross-functional project plans that coordinate teams of subject matter experts.

• Manages deliverables by conducting project reviews and ensuring adherence to project management best practices across all engagements.

• Facilitates complex decision-making and provides recommendations, utilizing a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

• Manages project documentation, status updates, and risk awareness.

• Communicates project efforts, progress, accomplishments, challenges, and setbacks in a timely manner to senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in a project management role within fintech, payments, banking technology, or regulated SaaS environments.

• Experience collaborating with financial institutions and enterprise clients.

• Proficiency in the Atlassian suite of products, including Confluence and Jira, as well as project management tools like Smartsheets.

• Experience managing complex, long-term, and often ambitious projects.

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple clients and priorities at the same time.

• Comfortable collaborating with technical, operational, business, and compliance stakeholders.

• Familiarity with APIs, data integrations, or platform-based products.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• PMP, CSM, or similar certification is a plus.
