Senior Implementation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +19 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of implementing customer benefit plans for self-funded new business clients.

• Collaborate with key internal and external partners to pinpoint and resolve critical implementation challenges.

• Spearhead the planning and execution of organizational projects that align with objectives, timelines, and budget restrictions.

• Create project plans, assign team members, define deliverables, set deadlines, and outline milestones.

• Conduct project post-mortems and utilize insights gained to enhance project management methodologies.

• Establish and maintain quality control protocols.

• Formulate change management strategies to facilitate successful adoption.

• Identify project risks and issues, devise mitigation strategies, and create contingency plans.

• Prepare and present reports on project progress.

• Supervise individuals managing multiple projects and conflicting priorities.

• Mentor junior team members in project management techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, healthcare implementation, or a related domain.

• 5 to 7 years of healthcare client-facing experience, including direct management of client relationships, issue resolution, and successful execution of healthcare products, services, or implementation projects.

• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to evaluate risks, propose solutions, and resolve issues within set timelines.

• Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated skills in execution and delivery, including prioritizing tasks, managing competing deadlines, coordinating cross-functional resources, and achieving defined business goals.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of relevant work experience and education.

• In-depth knowledge and strong familiarity with Aetna’s organizations that represent products, services, administration, operations, and systems.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.
