Implementation Manager, Health Plan

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Dakota.

📋 Description

• Oversee the effective execution of essential Health Plan initiatives and product delivery.

• Create and oversee strategies and project plans for comprehensive implementation of products and initiatives.

• Convert product documentation into actionable business requirements.

• Guide cross-functional teams in formulating implementation plans and documentation for rollout.

• Work collaboratively with various departments on tactical tasks, implementation, and administration related to government program product lines.

• Relay implementation updates, objectives, success metrics, and potential risks/issues across the organization.

• Evaluate project challenges and spearhead the development of resolutions.

• Keep abreast of current regulatory environments that impact products.

• Oversee multiple complex projects simultaneously while managing vendor relationships.

• Coordinate product filings and reporting with governmental bodies.

• Identify internal resources to address agency inquiries and implement new directives.

• Act as a liaison between government entities, internal departments, and subcontracting agencies.

• Organize and supervise the necessary reporting and filings to comply with contract stipulations.

• Assist in daily operations and business goals for Medicare Advantage, ACA, and commercial health insurance offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a Healthcare-related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the health insurance sector or a related field is required.

• Preferred experience in Health Plan operations and/or project management.

• Certification as an Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is preferred.

• Familiarity and experience with Medicare Advantage, Affordable Care Act (ACA), and commercial health insurance products.

• Capability to lead cross-functional teams indirectly.

• Proficient in managing multiple complex projects and vendor relationships.

• Understanding of the regulatory requirements that impact health insurance products.

• Competence in coordinating product filings and reporting with governmental programs and agencies.
