Senior Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Execute the initial technical implementation of technology products following a sale.

• Carry out installation, upgrades, testing, and system configuration for various implementation projects.

• Engage with clients to assess and validate their operational requirements while understanding their business goals.

• Monitor the progress of implementation projects, including deadlines and scheduling challenges.

• Keep customers and stakeholders updated on the status of projects.

• Apply, test, and adjust data rules to achieve the desired outcomes.

• Facilitate research, diagnosis, resolution, and follow-up for customer change events.

• Contribute to the development of standardized customer solutions.

• Escalate incidents that fall outside the scope of the role.

• Manage support cases that require partner involvement and serve as the escalation point between clients and the partner network.

• Collaborate directly with third parties, consultants, VARs, and providers of adapters or applications.

• Manage complex and high-priority tasks.

• Maintain extensive industry-specific knowledge and keep updated with new products and technical advancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree combined with several years of relevant experience, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of applicable experience or equivalent practical knowledge.

• Demonstrated experience with EDI and supply chain management.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Knowledge of ERP systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Capability to apply, test, and modify data rules to achieve the desired results.

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong skills in relationship-building, including effective communication over the phone.

• Experience collaborating with third parties, consultants, VARs, or providers of adapters and applications.

• Familiarity with XML.

• Experience using text editing and data mapping tools, along with an in-depth understanding of mapping tool functionalities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, along with strong interpersonal skills.

• A balanced skill set as both a driver and facilitator, as well as a tactical leader and doer.
