Implementation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation of new clients and facilities within the CEVA Contract Logistics network.

• Aid in site setup, facility outfitting, layout execution, and optimization of processes in the fulfillment center.

• Work in collaboration with Solution Design and local Operations & Facilities teams to establish facility layouts and modifications to racking elevation.

• Maintain and update AutoCAD layouts.

• Enforce CEVA standards concerning LEAN practices, Continuous Improvement, Tier Boards, and KPIs.

• Collaborate with Operations to suggest and carry out process optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, safety, and quality.

• Monitor operations to ensure adherence to Work Instructions and that they accurately represent current processes.

• Partner with Project Management and Procurement to guarantee timely ordering, tracking, delivery, and implementation of equipment and supplies within budget constraints.

• Oversee layouts, ensure completion of facility readiness actions, track capital investments, and enforce engineering standards.

• Work alongside implementation project teams and local Operations & Facilities teams to ensure timely and budget-compliant action completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience in Logistics & Distribution, focusing on designing, implementing, or launching new facilities and solutions.

• Experience in 3PL or similar environments is preferred.

• Background in e-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment is advantageous.

• Six Sigma and LEAN certifications are desirable.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Strong skills in data analysis.

• Experience with process mapping tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with WMS functionality.

• Experience in warehouse automation applications.

• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proven track record of relationship-building and trust development.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Skillful in analyzing complex issues and formulating effective solutions.
