This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee mid-sized to large, intricate implementation projects while managing multiple workstreams.
• Lead joint project initiation and governance meetings with clients and solution providers.
• Design and conduct discovery sessions and workshops to envision future states.
• Create, validate, and oversee integrated project schedules that encompass tasks, dependencies, timelines, resources, critical paths, and stakeholder commitments.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors regarding interfaces, integrations, testing, conversion, readiness, and deployment.
• Track engagement performance, resource utilization, budgets, quality, and milestones; suggest corrective measures as needed.
• Manage project risks, issues, and decisions; facilitate resolutions and escalate matters that require executive intervention.
• Maintain accountability for scope, schedule, budget, governance, deliverable quality, and client expectations.
• Review and endorse implementation documentation, including requirements, testing plans, training materials, conversion strategies, readiness assessments, executive summaries, and decision logs.
• Lead mock conversions, cutover planning, go-live readiness evaluations, and post-implementation stabilization efforts.
• Provide daily project leadership, guidance, and mentorship to consultants, analysts, and client project teams.
• Counsel clients and make delivery decisions autonomously within the approved scope.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in financial services, consulting, or systems implementation, specifically in leading complex workstreams or projects.
• Proven experience in managing implementation activities for banks or credit unions and engaging directly with client stakeholders.
• In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, digital banking solutions, payment systems, loan origination systems, or similar financial technology products.
• Strong grasp of bank and credit union operations, encompassing deposits, lending, payments, and back-office functions.
• Demonstrated project leadership in managing complex workstreams, dependencies, resources, and stakeholder engagements.
• Advanced business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, operating model design, and impact assessments.
• Strong expertise in vendor management, system integrations, testing, data conversion, and implementation governance.
• High proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent platforms.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Proficient in process mapping, requirements documentation, and tools for executive reporting.
• Solid understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Advanced knowledge of system integrations, testing, data conversion, cutover, and go-live readiness processes.
• Capability to establish project governance, manage integrated plans, and convey engagement performance to executive stakeholders.
