This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee technical integration initiatives for Veradigm DORN in collaboration with laboratory, radiology, and EHR partners.
• Manage projects from inception to production certification.
• Handle new integrations and partner transitions.
• Facilitate technical design discussions, converting clinical and operational needs into effective DORN integrations utilizing API and HL7 standards.
• Create and sustain project timelines, milestones, and status updates.
• Conduct kickoff meetings, weekly status updates, and track risks/issues.
• Maintain and update laboratory and radiology compendiums, which include test/order codes, result formats, and mappings.
• Assist EHR partners in onboarding and testing new labs and radiology centers via DORN.
• Implement test plans, evaluate QA demonstrations, and aid in production certification.
• Collaborate with laboratory and radiology partners to address connectivity requirements, transaction fee structures, and readiness for go-live.
• Resolve integration challenges during implementation and initial production phases alongside engineering and support teams.
• Recognize and escalate project risks, scope alterations, and delays.
• Manage change orders in collaboration with account and product teams.
• Provide support led by implementation during the post-certification stabilization phase.
• Transition partners to ongoing support after achieving a steady state.
• Document decisions related to integration, configurations, and lessons learned.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT implementation, integration, or technical project management.
• Preferably experience related to labs, radiology, or EHR systems.
• Practical experience with HL7 messaging for orders and results.
• Familiarity with API-based integrations.
• Understanding of laboratory or radiology order/results workflows, including test compendiums and result mapping.
• Capability to manage multiple simultaneous implementation projects with conflicting timelines and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading discussions with external partners and both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable collaborating directly with EHR vendors, lab/radiology partners, and internal engineering, product, and support teams.
• Previous experience with Veradigm products or similar diagnostic connectivity platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of reference lab operations or workflows in radiology/imaging centers is preferred.
• Experience managing migrations or transitions of EHR-to-lab or EHR-to-radiology integrations is preferred.
• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
