This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Install, upgrade, and migrate ImageX within customer Windows Server and virtual environments.
• Configure Connect, which includes Spaces, permissions, DICOM locations, AE titles, routing rules, and site-to-site network connections.
• Construct, map, and troubleshoot HL7 v2, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, and SSO integrations.
• Identify and resolve DICOM, HL7, and Windows infrastructure issues utilizing logs and diagnostic tools.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues related to firewalls, ports, VPNs, certificates, DNS, proxies, antivirus/endpoint security, disk capacity, and Windows services.
• Collaborate with customer IT teams and third-party PACS, VNA, RIS, and EHR vendors to address cross-system challenges.
• Conduct technical kickoffs, status calls, working sessions, installations, and customer training.
• Create and implement test plans, monitor acceptance criteria, assist in user acceptance testing, and prepare implementations for production.
• Lead go-lives and cutovers, which may require early-morning, evening, or overnight windows, and provide hypercare support.
• Assist in migrations from existing image exchange platforms, including parallel operations and validation.
• Partner with Imaging Informatics on training and adoption for clinical end-users.
• Assess customer environments for security and connectivity needs while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and Medicom security practices.
• Keep precise project and customer records, including Salesforce details, implementation documentation, and engagement knowledge.
• Oversee a portfolio of 17–25 active customer projects and support 30–40 installations, kickoffs, connection calls, and training sessions each month.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare IT with direct responsibility for PACS, VNA, RIS, EHR, or related imaging systems.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting DICOM and HL7 v2 interfaces in a production environment.
• Capability to independently interpret HL7 messages and DICOM associations.
• Proficient understanding of imaging workflows across radiology, cardiology, and oncology.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with Windows Server and network issues, including ports, firewalls, VPNs, certificates, DNS, and endpoint security.
• Capacity to manage over 15 concurrent customer engagements.
• Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions.
• Willingness to assist with scheduled early-morning and occasional evening or overnight cutover windows.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and sound judgment when handling technical data or diagnostics that may involve protected health information.
• Preferred: experience with Mirth Connect / NextGen Connect.
• Preferred: familiarity with Epic integration, including Interconnect, Showroom Connection Hub, vendor services, or application provisioning.
• Preferred: experience in supporting VA or federal health systems, specifically VistA or multi-site VISN programs.
• Preferred: experience in migrating customers from competing image exchange platforms.
• Preferred: experience with Salesforce and/or TaskRay or another project delivery platform.
• Preferred: relevant certifications such as NextGen Certified Professional in Mirth Connect, ARRT, CIIP, or an AWS foundational certification.
