Senior Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate Sage Intacct implementations across various modules, entities, locations, or business units from initial discovery through to go-live and support transition.

• Conduct discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with executive, financial, operational, and technical stakeholders.

• Convert client goals and requirements into solution designs, configuration plans, workflows, functional specifications, and use cases.

• Evaluate current-state business processes and provide recommendations to clients on future-state processes leveraging Sage Intacct capabilities and implementation best practices.

• Configure Sage Intacct Core Financials and associated modules, including complex multi-entity settings.

• Advise on decisions related to process design, configuration versus customization, integrations, data migration, reporting, security, and workflow management.

• Direct testing, validation, client training, change management, go-live readiness, and post-go-live transition efforts.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage project deliverables against contractual scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.

• Identify, document, and convey project risks, dependencies, scope alterations, and necessary decisions.

• Set expectations and navigate challenging discussions, competing priorities, conflicting requirements, and complex stakeholder dynamics.

• Cultivate trusted client relationships and offer strategic guidance to facilitate solution adoption and business enhancement.

• Specify requirements for integrations, custom functions, data migrations, dashboards, advanced reporting, and other technical components.

• Ensure a complete and effective handoff to Customer Support.

• Assist in pre-sales activities, including discovery, solution design, estimates, scoping, and Statement of Work formulation.

• Identify opportunities to enhance or optimize clients' utilization of Sage Intacct and related solutions.

• Mentor consultants and team members through project guidance, knowledge sharing, coaching, and deliverable reviews.

• Enhance implementation methodology, documentation, tools, quality standards, and reusable best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of seven years of ERP implementation or technology consulting experience, with significant client-facing responsibilities and experience in leading full implementations.

• Proven success in leading at least ten complete Sage Intacct Core implementations from discovery through to go-live.

• Recognized expertise in Sage Intacct Core Financials and complex multi-entity configurations.

• Advanced functional knowledge of multiple Sage Intacct modules, reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics.

• Strong understanding of accounting and operational processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, consolidations, budgeting, financial reporting, workflow management, and data migration.

• Demonstrated proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements, mapping business processes, conducting gap analysis, and translating client needs into scalable system solutions.

• Experience in managing project scope, budget, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and client expectations.

• Proven ability in stakeholder management, negotiation, conflict resolution, and change management.

• Effective communication skills with executive, operational, financial, and technical audiences.

• Experience mentoring consultants and leading cross-functional project teams.

• Sage Intacct certifications are highly preferred.

• Experience with Sage Intacct Marketplace solutions, business intelligence tools, integrations, or advanced reporting is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited institution is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• May require customer approval for access to customer information, systems, and/or premises.
