Senior Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deploy Altera software solutions, particularly Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory, at client locations mainly in Manitoba.

• Execute project workplan tasks within the agreed project scope as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

• Conduct intricate system configurations and provide technical support to clients.

• Offer workflow consultation on areas such as registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation.

• Convert paper-based clinic workflows into streamlined electronic formats.

• Identify, resolve, and escalate system issues and complex workflow challenges.

• Provide activation assistance and achieve client utilization and transformation objectives.

• Manage expectations among end-users, stakeholders, and executive leadership.

• Anticipate the needs of clients, advocate on their behalf, and facilitate successful project outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

• Over 2 years of practical experience in healthcare IT implementation and configuration.

• Strong demonstrated functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system.

• Specific expertise in Altera Sunrise EMR (Core or Ambulatory) is preferred.

• Experience with Epic or Meditech is valued, particularly alongside in-depth knowledge of registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation workflows.

• Experience as part of a formal implementation project team that has successfully deployed EMR systems.

• Clinical background is preferred.

• A technical background, including SQL or SSRS reporting, is preferred.

• Proven experience in client presentations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience in project management and the ability to handle multiple priorities during lengthy implementation cycles.

• Ability to swiftly acquire new information.

• Must reside in Canada and be willing and able to travel as necessary.
