Senior Implementation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Implement Altera software solutions, with a focus on Sunrise EMR Core and Ambulatory, at client locations primarily within Manitoba.

• Complete project workplan tasks in accordance with the contracted project scope as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

• Execute complex system configurations and provide technical guidance to clients.

• Offer workflow consultation for registration, scheduling, and clinical documentation processes.

• Convert paper-based clinic workflows into optimized electronic formats.

• Identify, address, and escalate system and workflow issues throughout the implementation projects.

• Provide activation support and achieve client utilization and transformation objectives.

• Manage the expectations of end-users, executive leadership, and other client stakeholders.

• Anticipate client needs, advocate for them, and facilitate successful project delivery.

• Travel primarily for essential on-site support during critical go-live activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in healthcare IT implementation and configuration.

• Strong, demonstrated functional knowledge of an EMR/EHR system.

• Specific expertise in Altera Sunrise EMR (Core or Ambulatory) is preferred.

• Experience with Epic or Meditech is valued when paired with in-depth knowledge of clinic workflows.

• Experience as part of a formal implementation project team that has successfully deployed EMR systems.

• A clinical background is preferred.

• A technical background, such as SQL or SSRS reporting, is preferred.

• Proven ability in client presentation.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Experience in project management with the ability to manage multiple priorities during extended implementation cycles.

• Ability to rapidly assimilate new information.

• Willingness and capacity to travel as required.

• Candidates must be residents of Canada.
