Senior IAM Engineer – Ping Identity

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, test, enhance, and sustain applications utilizing Java and Spring/Spring Boot.

• Create scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices.

• Convert technical and business requirements into effective software solutions.

• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and testable code.

• Engage in architecture and technical design discussions.

• Produce unit tests and integration tests.

• Analyze defects, production incidents, performance challenges, and integration issues.

• Take part in code reviews.

• Assist with CI/CD, deployment, release, and production support tasks.

• Contribute to initiatives for application modernization, cloud adoption, and the reduction of technical debt.

• Keep technical documentation up to date.

• Collaborate with Architecture, QA, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, and business and product stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development using Java.

• Familiarity with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.

• Proficient with Git, Maven, and/or Gradle.

• Experience in unit and integration testing.

• Skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and providing production support.

• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with enterprise applications and mission-critical systems.

• Advanced proficiency in English for effective communication in a global setting.

• Familiarity with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes technologies.

• Experience with Kafka.

• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and observability practices.

• Involvement in application modernization projects.

• Background in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth/Asset Management, Capital Markets, Insurance, or other regulated sectors.

• Relevant certifications in Java, cloud technologies, or Agile methodologies.
