Senior HR & Payroll Specialist, German

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive support for German payroll and the payroll team in alignment with established standards and client specifications.

• Conduct, assist with, and oversee Root Cause Analysis for issues that lead to client escalations, ensuring that corrective actions are executed.

• Recognize upsell opportunities and facilitate the Change Request process, which includes estimating and implementing necessary modifications.

• Comprehend both standard and client-specific payroll reports, including statutory year-end reporting requirements.

• Stay informed about legislation, system updates, changes, and payroll procedures while managing the payroll legislation roadmap effectively.

• Address payroll-related inquiries and requests from team members and clients promptly.

• Assist the Operations Manager in client engagement initiatives.

• Handle sensitive and confidential information with care and integrity.

• Resolve technical and functional issues escalated by team members and clients, providing necessary support.

• Maintain the client solution workbook and offer functional assistance.

• Support and guide project implementations and go-lives.

• Engage in assigned projects and activities actively.

• Enhance the skills and knowledge of colleagues through training delivery and coaching initiatives.

• Perform champion duties related to innovation.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in Payroll administration within an HR consulting, HR Outsourcing, or corporate setting.

• Proficient in both English and German.

• Capability to cooperate and work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently while adhering to established processes and procedures.

• Aptitude for identifying and mitigating risks effectively.

• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Flexibility to thrive in a global and fast-paced environment.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Valid and future work authorization in Poland without the requirement for visa sponsorship by Strada.

• Successful completion of relevant background checks.
