
Senior HR Benefits & Leave Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
β’ Design, administer, and evaluate health, welfare, retirement, and ancillary benefit programs.
β’ Lead the annual enrollment process, which includes planning, system testing, vendor coordination, administration, communication, and issue resolution.
β’ Ensure correct benefit enrollments, modifications, terminations, leave hours, pay codes, and payroll deductions; audit data and coordinate necessary corrections and reconciliations.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert for employee leaves of absence and workplace accommodations, including ADA.
β’ Oversee end-to-end leave cases with a third-party administrator, covering FMLA, short-term salary continuation, long-term disability, parental, caregiver, military, and other relevant leaves.
β’ Develop and deliver communications regarding programs and offerings.
β’ Identify opportunities to enhance benefit and leave programs, processes, and service delivery.
β’ Collaborate with vendors, HR, and business stakeholders to address inquiries, provide guidance, and resolve issues.
β’ Work alongside the HR Information System team on system capabilities, configuration, testing, data integrity, interfaces, and reporting.
β’ Act as a primary liaison with benefit, leave, and retirement vendors; manage relationships and monitor service delivery.
β’ Maintain benefits policies, practices, guidelines, and documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations.
β’ Keep a compliance calendar and ensure the timely preparation and distribution of necessary reports, notifications, and filings.
β’ Analyze data to enhance plans and improve the employee experience.
β’ Lead employee well-being programming, planning, and communications; collaborate with ERGs on health and wellness events.
β’ Provide support across HR teams and functional areas.
β’ A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
β’ 5+ years of relevant work experience in benefits and leave administration, including health and welfare, retirement, disability, FMLA, and accommodation processes.
β’ Alternatively, equivalent military experience.
β’ Proven ability to independently administer complex benefit, leave, disability, and accommodation programs and processes.
β’ Knowledge of DOL, IRS, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA, and other federal and state legislation.
β’ Ability to interpret laws, policies, plan documents, and administrative requirements.
β’ High level of integrity and professionalism; capable of managing sensitive and confidential information.
β’ Strong organizational and project management skills.
β’ Capability to build collaborative relationships and provide clear, supportive consultation.
β’ Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, presentation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
β’ Strong attention to detail.
β’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Advanced proficiency in HR information, payroll, and benefit administration systems.
