This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, implement, configure, deploy, and provide support for source-system interfaces, integration setups, data pipelines, and exchange services within healthcare integration environments.
• Assess source-system requirements, interface specifications, data flows, and integration dependencies to establish and maintain dependable, secure, and scalable integrations.
• Conduct data mapping, transformation, message routing, interface setup, defect resolution, integration testing, and production support tasks.
• Facilitate integrations that involve EHR, claims, public health, HIE, FHIR, HL7, MLLP, and various other healthcare data sources and technologies.
• Assist in the onboarding of facilities and vendors by managing interface deployments, testing, troubleshooting, and technical implementation tasks.
• Preserve interface configurations, implementation artifacts, technical runbooks, operational documentation, and other integration-related materials.
• Collaborate with senior integration engineers, FHIR engineers, onboarding teams, testers, vendors, and facility technical teams to address integration challenges and ensure successful deployments.
• Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as necessary to align with team objectives and guarantee project success.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or a related discipline, along with 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Significant experience in healthcare interoperability, source-system integration, interface configuration, and enterprise application integration.
• Proficient in data mapping, transformation, message routing, interface deployment, and troubleshooting within complex healthcare data flows.
• Familiarity with healthcare integration technologies and standards such as HL7, FHIR, MLLP, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities with the ability to identify and rectify complex integration defects and data-flow challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, capable of working independently with technical teams, vendors, and healthcare facility stakeholders.
• Proficient in Java, scripting, XML, JSON, SQL, healthcare interface engines, Apache NiFi, and enterprise integration technologies.
• Experience in supporting EHR, claims, public health, HIE, and FHIR-based integrations within enterprise healthcare settings.
• Knowledgeable in facility and vendor onboarding, integration testing, configuration management, source code management, and production support.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• All shortlisted candidates must successfully undergo a background check.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Government/Public Trust clearance, including necessary fingerprinting, when required for the position.
