This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee comprehensive analytical projects from initial scoping and data gathering to delivering insights and presenting to stakeholders for all product lines.
• Create and sustain sophisticated dashboards, models, and reports that monitor contract performance, usage, cost trends, and population health results.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and financial leadership to convert intricate data into high-level executive recommendations.
• Propel value-based care analytics, encompassing risk stratification, identification of care gaps, network performance assessment, and total cost of care modeling.
• Facilitate cross-functional teamwork with IT, data engineering, and clinical informatics to establish data standards and enhance pipeline reliability.
• Recognize opportunities for operational enhancements and construct the analytical justification for changes.
• Develop and document best practices, reusable frameworks, and analytical standards for the team.
• Keep abreast of healthcare policies, reimbursement modifications, and emerging analytics methodologies, translating their implications for the organization.
• A Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare analytics or health plan operations.
• Proficient in SQL for querying relational databases.
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with healthcare data types, particularly claims data.
• Knowledge of medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRG).
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: A Master's degree in Health Informatics, Public Health (MPH), or Data Science.
• Preferred: Experience with Tableau, Python, or R for statistical analysis.
• Preferred: Understanding of value-based care models (ACOs, PCMH, bundled payments).
• Preferred: Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare data governance practices.
• Eligibility for remote work.
