This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Create and deliver data-driven insights, healthcare consulting, and focused recommendations to large and intricate ASO client groups, insurance brokers/consultants, and provider systems/ACOs.
• Provide independent advice on Blue Cross NC healthcare programs and services, medical policies, provider network/reimbursement strategies, cost drivers, and industry best practices.
• Identify and implement customized solutions for employer group clients and provider systems by analyzing metrics and customer insights.
• Enhance member health, improve provider quality, and increase both the quality and affordability of care.
• Offer subject matter expertise on healthcare industry topics to internal teams and mentor junior staff.
• Manage relationships and consult with major national BCBSNC clients or Blue Premier systems/ACOs.
• Formulate customized business strategies to meet client/provider needs, enhance competitive positioning, foster partnerships/membership, and boost retention rates.
• Conduct regular annual and quarterly meetings with clients/providers alongside internal stakeholders.
• Gather and analyze data from various reporting sources and market intelligence.
• Evaluate financial, quality, and utilization data to uncover opportunities for reducing costs, enhancing quality, and improving member health.
• Assist in operationalizing requested client/provider services and addressing inquiries related to healthcare programs, operations, and policies.
• Engage in updates, calls, presentations, finalist meetings, events, workgroups, committees, training, and consultative-service initiatives.
• Negotiate client/provider partnerships and engagements, cross-selling opportunities, and market programs.
• Foster goodwill, establish relationships with business leaders and providers, and uphold the corporate image within the community.
• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree (if required).
• Over 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Alternatively, 7+ years of experience in a related field in lieu of a degree.
• Proficient in data analytics and reporting, including advanced Excel skills, pivot tables, and data interpretation.
• Proven stakeholder management experience with the capability to build relationships and influence cross-functional partners.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to convert data and insights into actionable business recommendations.
• Established client-facing experience with a track record of successfully managing client relationships, presentations, and strategic discussions.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
