This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Design and implement real-world evidence studies utilizing claims, electronic health records, and interconnected datasets.
• Conduct retrospective analyses, which include data preparation, cohort selection, dataset linkage, and outcome generation.
• Create study protocols, statistical code, and comprehensive analysis plans.
• Analyze results and contribute to the development of manuscripts, abstracts, reports, and presentations for conferences.
• Develop data visualizations and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Establish and maintain reusable coding frameworks and analytical standards.
• Review and verify analytical code to ensure quality and reproducibility.
• Utilize therapeutic area expertise in evidence planning and study design.
• Assist in evidence generation, market access, and business strategy for the Pain Interventions portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience OR a master's degree with 2+ years of experience.
• Expertise in SAS.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a qualification that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is necessary.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Economics, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Experience in analyzing administrative claims or electronic health record databases.
• Familiarity with R or Python.
• Proven experience preparing study reports, manuscripts, presentations, or data visualizations.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and National Drug Code (NDC) coding systems.
• Background in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, health insurance, hospital, or health system sectors.
• Experience with predictive modeling, econometrics, or machine learning applied to healthcare data.
• History of supporting peer-reviewed publications and scientific conference presentations.
• Experience working within a matrixed organization.
