This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Design and implement real-world evidence studies utilizing claims, electronic health records, and integrated datasets.
• Conduct retrospective analyses, including data preparation, cohort selection, dataset integration, and outcome development.
• Create study protocols, statistical coding, and analytical plans.
• Analyze results and contribute to manuscripts, abstracts, reports, and presentations at conferences.
• Develop data visualizations and effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Establish and maintain reusable coding frameworks and analytical standards.
• Review and validate analytical code to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
• Utilize therapeutic area expertise to inform evidence planning and study design.
• Assist in evidence generation, market access, and business strategy within the Pain Interventions portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience OR a master's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in SAS programming.
• Must have unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout the duration of employment.
• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree that meets the criteria of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
• A master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Economics, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Data Science, or Computer Science is preferred.
• Preferred experience in analyzing administrative claims or electronic health record databases.
• Experience with R or Python is preferred.
• Experience in preparing study reports, manuscripts, presentations, or data visualizations is preferred.
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and National Drug Code (NDC) coding systems is preferred.
• Background in the medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, health insurance, hospital, or health system sectors is preferred.
• Experience with predictive modeling, econometrics, or machine learning using healthcare data is preferred.
• Previous involvement in supporting peer-reviewed publications and scientific conference presentations is preferred.
