Senior Health Data Researcher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work alongside leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize topics in clinical and economic research.

• Formulate research questions and establish analytical plans for publication and evidence-generation priorities.

• Organize, query, and analyze clinical, claims, EHR, and engagement data sets.

• Utilize advanced statistical techniques, such as multilevel modeling, causal inference, propensity score matching, mixed-effects modeling, longitudinal analyses, and sensitivity testing.

• Collaborate with co-authors to complete analyses, manuscripts, white papers, and abstracts.

• Address anonymous peer reviews by conducting repeat analyses and revising manuscripts.

• Identify pertinent conferences for abstract submissions and present ongoing research when suitable.

• Keep abreast of advancements in cardiovascular health, digital health, behavioral science, chronic disease, health economics, and public health research.

• Assist in creating data summaries, research protocols, IRB materials, and other documentation related to research.

• Convert complex analytical results into practical insights for clinical, technical, commercial, and executive audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong fluency in AI, including the design of AI-enabled workflows and the development or customization of agents while ensuring accuracy, privacy, and human oversight.

• A graduate degree in a clinical field, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, or a related area, such as MS, MPH, PhD, or PharmD.

• Over 5 years of experience in clinical research.

• Prior experience as a co-author on relevant clinical publications.

• Proficient in statistical programming using R, Python, SQL, MS Excel, or other analytical tools.

• Strong data management skills, including data cleaning, statistical analysis, and data visualization.

• Experience planning and executing complex statistical analyses while managing deadlines across various research priorities.

• Familiarity with clinical, claims, EHR, engagement, or other healthcare data sets.

• Background in testing claims and enrollment data for discrepancies, including actuarial summaries and cohort-specific analyses.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Open to and responsive regarding feedback on manuscripts, analyses, and written work.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, capable of conveying findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
