This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +11 more states.
• Collaborate with public sector clients to create and implement solutions that enhance business processes and resolve organizational challenges.
• Analyze business operations and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate meetings, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders to gather both business and technical requirements.
• Produce written reports, process documentation, and client presentations.
• Assist in analytical research that aligns policies, procedures, and business needs with configured functionalities.
• Utilize Agile methodology to craft user stories, plan and track development and deployment progress, and showcase delivered functionalities.
• Support testing and reconciliation from a functional and business process perspective.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Aid in proposal development, client relationship management, and business development initiatives.
• Engage in continuous learning, foster collaboration across teams, develop both technical and transferable skills, and leverage emerging AI capabilities to enhance efficiency, insights, and client outcomes.
• Contribute to account strategy, client relationships, delivery excellence, and building trusted partnerships.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in technology project business analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of HR/Payroll processes.
• Previous experience with HCM technology implementation projects or in implementing payroll or HCM software.
• Familiarity with ALM software (JIRA, DevOps, ELM).
• Experience working in a structured Agile or Scrum environment.
• Strong background in working with public sector clients.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and quantitative skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Prior experience as a management consultant is preferred.
• Current certification in CBAP, CSM, PMI-PBA, or PMP is preferred.
• Experience with large projects (100k+ employees, multi-year implementations) is preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level government systems and public sector project lifecycles is preferred.
