This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead the development of audience segments within the licensed platform, which includes defining audience characteristics, event taxonomy, identity resolution rules, and integration architecture with ESPs and downstream channels.
• Oversee the entire email marketing program, encompassing campaign strategy, audience segmentation, automation flows, A/B testing, and performance analysis.
• Set and uphold data hygiene standards, as well as compliance protocols including CAN-SPAM, and manage unsubscribe/suppression processes.
• Collaborate with the data team on governing subscriber data, including its collection, storage, and flow throughout the system.
• Align CDP data structures with the overarching data roadmap and migration initiatives.
• Drive an omnichannel strategy that integrates direct mail logistics with digital campaigns, ensuring consistent targeting, personalization, and suppression.
• Lead the adoption of AI automation across both email and direct mail, including optimizing send times, predictive segmentation, A/B testing, and performance analytics.
• Manage reporting dashboards that link channel engagement to renewal rates and revenue contributions.
• Assess and recommend MarTech tools for channel expansion and automation enhancement.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert on email and CDP functionalities.
• Supervise one or more team members.
• Report directly to the Director of Growth Marketing while collaborating with teams in data, growth marketing, product, brand, and data automation.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in email marketing, growth marketing, or marketing automation.
• Hands-on experience with a Customer Data Platform (CDP); experience with Twilio Segment is preferred.
• Direct experience with a marketing automation platform, specifically Marketo or HubSpot; experience with Klayvio, Customer.io, or similar platforms is also relevant.
• Proven ability to design and implement segmentation strategies using first-party behavioral and transactional data.
• Working knowledge of CAN-SPAM and other privacy regulations, best practices in email deliverability, and list hygiene management.
• Experience working across functions with data engineering, analytics, and product teams.
• Familiarity with direct mail programs or exposure to omnichannel orchestration.
• Experience in subscription-based or auto-renewal business models.
• Active, hands-on experience using AI tools within a marketing workflow.
• Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive industries such as healthcare, education, or financial services.
• Strong familiarity with Marketo.
• Ability to work from home during core US business hours.
• Must reside in the United States.
