Marketing Automation Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of top-of-funnel systems and campaigns utilizing Pardot, Storyblok website forms, list uploads, Clay, and Pardot nurture programs, sequences, and webinar flows.

• Create and distribute list emails and sequences using Pardot and Knak.

• Develop and manage segmented nurture programs in Engagement Studio and adjust them according to performance data.

• Organize webinars from start to finish, including registration forms, Zuddl-to-Pardot synchronization, campaign IDs, reminders, and follow-ups.

• Design form handlers, autoresponders, and landing-page forms.

• Upload lead lists with appropriate campaign, source, and consent information; oversee intake, service level agreements (SLA), and pre-launch quality assurance (QA).

• Test subject lines, sending times, and content; personalize based on segment, industry, and lifecycle stage.

• Manage Pardot administration and its Salesforce synchronization, including users, connectors, field mapping, and campaign member status.

• Document and oversee integrations between Pardot, Salesforce, the website, Zuddl, Knak, Meta, and Google Ads.

• Execute Clay enrichment waterfalls, list building, and signal tables for Business Development Representative (BDR) routing.

• Assess, purchase, and renew marketing tools.

• Own lead scoring, grading, lifecycle stages, and handoff protocols to BDRs and Account Executives (AEs).

• Incorporate self-service signups and product usage into scoring and lifecycle processes.

• Manage warehouse, Pardot, and Salesforce synchronization in both directions.

• Ensure database quality through deduplication, normalization, suppression lists, and compliance with GDPR consent management.

• Establish campaign taxonomy and UTM standards.

• Write SQL and Salesforce reports; create funnel and pipeline-by-source reports in the Business Intelligence (BI) tool.

• Monitor email deliverability, including domain health, bounce rates, and spam rates.

• Template and automate recurring requests using Clay, Claude, n8n, or Zapier, incorporating QA and fallback processes.

• Prepare playbooks and train marketers for self-service capabilities.

• Provide monthly reports on funnel performance, requests, automation, database integrity, deliverability, and engagement metrics.

• Collaborate across Demand Generation, Events, Content, Partner Marketing, Sales Development, Sales Operations, and Analytics.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in marketing operations or marketing automation, preferably within B2B SaaS.

• Proficient in Pardot administration, including Salesforce connector, Engagement Studio, form handlers, and campaign synchronization.

• Fluency in Salesforce, including campaigns, lead and contact fields, reports, and dashboards.

• Proven experience in building nurture programs and demonstrating their conversion impact.

• Experience managing a high-volume request queue and decreasing request times through templates and automation.

• Skilled in shipping and maintaining automations using a workflow builder and LLM tools.

• Practical experience with lead scoring, lifecycle management, and routing that demonstrates positive results.

• Proficient in SQL.

• Hands-on experience with enrichment tools such as Clay, ZoomInfo, or Apollo.

• Knowledge of GDPR and consent management practices across different regions.

• Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to apply sound judgment and critical thinking when leveraging them.

• Ability to efficiently manage a high-volume request queue adhering to SLAs with QA before each launch.

• Systems thinking across Pardot, Salesforce, the website, Clay, and the warehouse.

• Capability to independently extract data, define fields, and create reports without needing an analyst.

• Strong attention to detail and disciplined testing practices.

• Excellent cross-functional coordination and clear written communication skills.
