This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of the German growth P&L, encompassing revenue, CAC, LTV, contribution margin, and payback.
• Establish targets and manage the forecast, prioritizing profitable growth over superficial metrics.
• Define and implement the growth strategy for the German market.
• Balance established channels with emerging platforms and experimentation.
• Identify high-impact opportunities to enhance acquisition while boosting efficiency.
• Oversee the entire funnel for paid search and social media, including Google, Meta, and Bing.
• Direct SEO, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and CRO initiatives.
• Integrate and assess channels against unit economic targets and shared commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with CRM to enhance repeat purchases, cohort retention, and lifetime value.
• Develop attribution, reporting, and forecasting systems for accurate CAC and contribution insights.
• Build, lead, and nurture the German growth team.
• Set performance expectations, proactively recruit, and support specialist growth.
• Represent Germany at the leadership level, conveying performance, risks, and strategic direction.
• Translate market performance into actionable insights for the executive team and board.
• Balance long-term strategic planning with proactive problem-solving.
• Extensive experience in digital growth or performance marketing.
• Minimum of three years in a senior leadership position with strategic ownership and team management.
• Demonstrated success in scaling a D2C, subscription, or telehealth business during a significant growth phase, with a direct and measurable impact on revenue and contributions.
• Experience managing unit economics, including CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution margin.
• Proven ability to make commercial trade-offs that foster profitable growth.
• Successful track record in building and leading high-performing growth teams.
• Confidence in operating at the executive and board levels, with the discernment to communicate difficult truths effectively.
• In-depth, hands-on expertise in paid media across Google Ads, Meta, and Bing, as well as SEO and lifecycle or CRM marketing.
• Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities, including proficiency with GA4, Looker Studio, and SEMrush.
• Proficiency in cohort analysis, attribution, and segmentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of the German market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
• Solid grasp of the German healthcare and pharmacy regulatory framework, including HWG and advertising restrictions related to healthcare and prescription products.
• Fluent in German and currently based in the UK.
• Experience in revitalizing or reconstructing the economics of an underperforming market or channel (desirable).
• Experience in adapting growth strategies to local market conditions (desirable).
• Experience working collaboratively across multiple markets (desirable).
• Must possess the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application; visa sponsorship is not available.
