Senior Growth Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete solution design process for intricate energy-efficiency and demand-side management initiatives, including strategy development, program structure, budgeting, and pricing.

• Convert market, regulatory, and client requirements into customized program designs.

• Create solution specifications that are in line with delivery capabilities and technical necessities.

• Produce persuasive and justifiable proposals that lead to successful outcomes.

• Ensure the integrity of solutions from the design phase through to implementation.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to confirm that solutions are practical, scalable, and operationally compatible.

• Act as a subject matter expert for post-award design modifications and provide strategic advice.

• Lead cross-disciplinary teams across business development, delivery, engineering, product, IT, and marketing sectors.

• Establish and standardize methodologies, frameworks, and best practices for solution design.

• Enhance efficiency, quality, and uniformity in program design.

• Guide junior consultants and engage in training and knowledge-sharing programs.

• Maintain proficiency in demand-side management (DSM), electrification, and distributed energy resource initiatives.

• Observe market trends, regulations, and the emergence of new technologies.

• Represent the organization as a subject matter expert with clients and, when applicable, at industry forums.

• Influence solution and service-offering strategies in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Business Intelligence teams.

• Identify gaps in offerings and spearhead the development of new capabilities.

• Contribute to revenue growth, pricing strategies, cost modeling, financial analyses, pursuit strategies, and pipeline development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in energy efficiency, demand-side management, electrification, or related sectors.

• Proven track record in designing and executing complex energy programs or solutions.

• Strong skills in financial modeling, analytics, and data interpretation (Excel, PowerBI, or similar tools).

• In-depth understanding of regulated utility environments, including filings and evaluation frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve results within tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information to varied audiences.

• Experience in shaping or scaling program offerings across multiple markets is preferred.

• Proven expertise in process design, workflow mapping, and operational optimization is preferred.

• Experience utilizing advanced analytics or AI tools to enhance efficiency and outcomes is preferred.

• Background in engineering, economics, environmental science, demand-side management programming, or related analytical disciplines is preferred.

• If applicable, fulfill all qualification, licensing, medical, and compliance criteria for commercial drivers under relevant provincial and territorial laws, the Canadian National Safety Code (NSC), and federal regulations for extra-provincial operations.

• Must have authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship or support.
