This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of assistance awards, grants, and contracts from U.S. Government, bilateral and multilateral organizations, foundations, corporations, and private entities.
• Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines across a diverse regional portfolio.
• Act as the primary contact and principal advisor for IPG, TE, and WVUS senior management regarding compliance with public and private funding.
• Serve as the main liaison for acquiring, managing, and ensuring compliance with federal and non-federal grants, contracts, cooperative agreements, and other funding mechanisms.
• Draft and negotiate teaming agreements, subgrants, amendments, professional service agreements, and nondisclosure agreements.
• Offer regulatory guidance, compliance support, technical assistance, and grant administration expertise throughout project lifecycles.
• Monitor compliance of subgrantees and implement corrective actions for any instances of non-compliance.
• Assist with the annual single audits as well as other internal and external audits.
• Track audit and compliance matters, validate and meet formal closeout requirements, and respond to inquiries from donors.
• Facilitate the development and enhancement of WVUS policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate on risk mitigation strategies, Risk Assessment and Management, and Safeguarding plans.
• Lead notifications to grantors, including the drafting and submission of Mandatory Disclosures.
• Engage in spiritual disciplines of Christian organizations and embody WV Core Values.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (eight years).
• 5–8 years of experience in accounting, business administration, finance, legal, grant, or contract sectors.
• Gateway 2 Grants and TOT certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.A. for any employer.
• Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and/or other languages is preferred and may be necessary for certain regional portfolios.
