Senior Government Funding Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in the implementation and ongoing adherence to Pre-K and Head Start / Early Head Start programs that are contracted to operate in centers.

• Aid center and field leaders in managing Pre-K and Head Start program operations and ensuring compliance.

• Formulate strategies for program support and assistance.

• Develop state- and contract-specific tools and resources to ensure grant compliance and facilitate data monitoring.

• Oversee the grant life cycle and gather data necessary for grant renewals.

• Establish and nurture relationships with state agency partners.

• Provide updates to center and field leaders regarding grant progress while monitoring recruitment, family engagement, home visits, spending, and other program metrics.

• Act as the subject matter expert for the designated state portfolio and keep track of evolving program requirements.

• Gather and maintain state and program data to monitor the progress of Pre-K and Head Start programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field, with experience in early childhood education preferred.

• Familiarity with Pre-K / Head Start / Early Head Start programs within the assigned portfolio.

• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and other general office software.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to promote open dialogue.

• Capacity to meet deadlines by effectively prioritizing tasks in a multi-tasking environment.

• Residency in Pennsylvania is required.

• Willingness to travel to assigned centers for Quarterly Observations, approximately 25% of the time.

• Occasional overnight travel may be necessary depending on the assignment.
