Senior Golang Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions utilizing Go.

• Assist in shaping the architecture of a high-load, mission-critical system.

• Work collaboratively with the team.

• Contribute to key strategic technical decisions.

• Maintain code quality through code reviews and ensure clean, testable implementations.

• Collaborate within a team environment using the Scrum framework.

• Take part in planning your own workflow.

• Engage in architectural, infrastructure, and other strategic decision-making processes.

• Conduct code reviews for fellow team members.

• Document your own code effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software development.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent programming experience with Go as the primary language.

• Strong grasp of Go internals, including data structures, multithreading, memory management, and garbage collection.

• Experience with relational databases, including the capability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.

• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies; the company employs Docker.

• Proficiency in writing testable code along with corresponding unit tests.

• Experience with Kafka and Kubernetes.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Upper-Intermediate proficiency in Russian.

• Nice to have: experience in developing applications for finance or other sectors where data integrity is crucial.

• Nice to have: understanding the principles of distributed applications and microservices architecture.

• Nice to have: familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, or Hexagonal Architecture.

• Nice to have: experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
